Mentored by some of Chicago’s best DPs and Gaffers, Austin has worked as a cameraman since 2016. In addition to having worked on numerous award-winning films, he has also filmed countless music videos with Chollette, a Chicago video production company. From shooting to lighting to producing projects, Austin’s positive energy and experience help take every video he creates to the next level.

Alex combined his business studies, entrepreneurial spirit, and lifelong art-centered hobbies to pursue a career in filmmaking.
After graduating from the University of Notre Dame with degrees in Finance and Chinese, Alex founded Butterfly Productions LLC, a video production company focused on promoting businesses, nonprofits, and individuals with powerful missions. Aside from video production, Alex enjoys playing cello in the Symphony of Oak Park and River Forest and composing classical music. His work has been performed by orchestras, chamber groups, and soloists.
